January 18, 2006
A recently released report by the Korean Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Commerce titled "Industrial Innovation Strategies for 2015" stated that the government expects Korea's share of the total worldwide semiconductor output to grow to about 20% by 2015, up from the approximately 10% in 2004.
